Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Sherrod Brown was born here. Will that matter to Richland County voters when they have to choose between Brown and incumbent Republican Sen. Mike DeWine?vIt matters to Joe Mudra, chairman of the Richland County Democratic Party, who said he has worked on every Brown campaign. "I think it's a tremendous asset and a tremendous opportunity," Mudra said, because Brown "clearly understands the life that we live here, what we've been through" with the loss of manufacturing jobs over the years.
