VIDEO: Sherrod unveils key priorities to support veterans and their families

Sherrod unveiled his key priorities to support veterans and their families at a news conference on Memorial Day in front of the Franklin County Veterans Service Commision.

Sherrod was joined by a dozen Columbus-area veterans, who were eager to hear his plan to address chronic shortfalls in federal funding.

Lou Dobbs: Trade Free For All

Lou Dobbs ran a segment last night on the Bush Administration's "trade free for all." Bush is currently negotiating free trade agreements with 25 countries, none of which contain sufficient worker and national security protections.

Speaking on the show, Sherrod said, "It's pretty clear these trade agreements aren't working, they're costing us jobs, they're hurting our communities when one more plant closes and then another plant closes."

Sherrod Interviewed on CNN & Local TV About Bush’s Iraq Speech

Sherrod was interviewed on CNN last night about Presidnet Bush's speech at the Cleveland City Club on the third anniversary of the Iraq War. Watch the video below, which includes clips from Cleveland affiliates of NBC and Fox.

Following Bush's speech, Sherrod told the Associated Press, "I hear very little support (for the Iraq war) in my travels in every region -- conservative regions, more progressive regions of this state, everywhere."
