COLUMBUS, OH – Today, Friends of Sherrod Brown Campaign Manager Rachel Petri released the following statement on the 51-year anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision.
“Today and every day, Sherrod stands with the majority of Ohioans who made it clear that a woman’s healthcare decisions should be between her and her doctor – not politicians,” said Rachel Petri, Friends of Sherrod Brown Campaign Manager. “At tonight’s primary debate – on the 51st anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision – Ohioans will be reminded that while Sherrod is fighting for them, his potential opponents have promised to overrule their voices if elected by voting for a national abortion ban.”
