COLUMBUS, OH – Today, Sherrod Brown kicked off canvass launches in Parma, Lakewood, and Solon to encourage Ohioans to make a plan to vote. Sherrod also visited Flava Catering, a Black-owned business that provides meals for local daycares.
While Sherrod fights for Ohioans and the Dignity of Work, Bernie Moreno has made it clear he only looks out for himself – from mocking Ohio women for wanting to make their own health care decisions and caring about abortion rights, to “stiffing” his workers out of the overtime they earned and deliberately shredding documents a judge ordered him to keep to get away with it, to selling the Chinese-made Buick Envision which “shipped [Ohio jobs] overseas.”
“When you love this country, you fight for the people who make it work. That’s how I’ve always done this job, why I’m running for reelection, and why I urge all Ohioans to make a plan to vote so we can continue fighting for Ohio,” said Senator Sherrod Brown. “This fight is personal to me and I will never stop fighting for Ohio and the Dignity of Work.”

Sherrod will always fight for workers and the Dignity of Work because no matter who you are, where you live, or what job you do, he understands your work has dignity:
- Sherrod introduced the bipartisan Red Tape Reduction Act to cut through red tape and limit excessive paperwork for Ohioans with small businesses.
- When Wall Street gambled away workers’ retirement savings, Sherrod led the years-long fight to pass the Butch Lewis Act – which successfully saved the pensions of over 100,000 Ohioans. Sherrod named the bill after Butch Lewis, an Ohio Teamster.
- Sherrod wrote and passed the bipartisan PACT Act to secure health care and benefits for veterans exposed to toxins and burn pits during their service. Sherrod has also hosted roundtables across the state to ensure veterans are aware of the benefits available to them.
- Sherrod worked with Republicans to successfully pass the FEND Off Fentanyl Act to protect Ohioans from dangerous fentanyl and provide resources to law enforcement to keep fentanyl out of Ohio communities.
- Sherrod led the CHIPS and Science Act to ensure the future of technology is built in Ohio, by Ohio workers.
- Sherrod stood up to Big Pharma and championed legislation to cap the cost of insulin at $35 for Medicare recipients. Sherrod is now fighting to cap the cost of insulin for all Americans.
